this song isn't about respect to pigeons! it's about how you can pass something each day but never really see the significance of it until it's too late. The point of it in this film is to show that mr brown doesn't notice the small good things in his life that he will significantly miss once the're gone eg. his children!

I went to there last weekend with my mate. When we went past i started singing this really loudly and people kept looking at me wierdly, includin ma mate. But ye, pigeons deserve respect. and its a luvly song

Not that she isn't allowed. She is physically unable to hit the notes that high due to a surgery on her vocal cords.

I'm pretty sure this was Walt Disney's favorite song out of any project Disney studios had done. Maybe his fave song period. It really hits you how much it meant to him when you realize how his own father was very distant and never showed him much love, that approval was something he was striving for his whole life and never got. You can see where the song had so much meaning and how it meant so much to him. He was always longing to be shown some affection & a little care from his own parent.

She had something wrong with her throat I think. She's not allowed to sing anymore because it might damage it. The most she's sung recently was in Princess Diaries 2 where she kind of spoke-sang. |
